Stewards of Children™

Stewards of Children™ training is free of charge to our community. It is a child sexual abuse prevention curriculum that is evidenced-informed and focuses on educating adults. The material is presented in a way that is empowering and encouraging. We offer both in-person and virtual training options. Darkness to Light provides trainings that are approved for accredited continuing education hours for different professionals, including educators, nurses, social workers, counselors, law enforcement and more.

Partners in Prevention

Once your organization’s staff and volunteers complete the Stewards of Children training, you are well on your way to becoming a Darkness to Light Partner in Prevention.

As a Partner, your organization will earn annual distinction for your commitment to child protection.  Once the application is approved, you will receive a Partner in Prevention emblem and poster for display at your facility, as  well as a digital badge for use on websites, newsletters, and marketing materials.

Child Abuse Prevention Month

During April, we participate in Child Abuse Prevention Month by offering Stewards of Children trainings, various community activities, and fundraising events.
