Services

In 2022, New Hope served 725 children in Blount County.

From advocacy and support services to forensic interviews and ongoing therapy sessions, children are able to find safety, hope and healing at New Hope so they can look forward to a brighter future.

Without a Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), a child might have to his or her story of abuse as many as 15 times. Now, with the CAC model, the child will only recount the details of his or her abuse one time and in one place.

Child Advocacy Centers provide a safe, child-friendly space where professionals can come together to provide a coordinated and evidence-based plan on how to help the child. The CAC model operates by bringing services to the child instead of the child having to go from place to place to tell their stories and finding needed resources on their own.
